I've been going by name G-Zone for a few years now, and in that time I've encountered a few other G-Zones. One of them is in my Directory, even. Possibly the most curious G-Zone I've come across is this Japanese energy drink:
That's right, there's a gaming-themed energy drink called G-Zone!
...Or is it called G-Zone? What's the deal here? Is it G Zone? Is it just Zone? I've seen online shop listings calling it both, so who's to say? I can't find any word from the company on the English-speaking web, which makes enough sense as again, it's a Japanese product for Japanese markets. Just look at the logo on the Dragon Quest one, though! That totally says G-Zone! Or is that a stretch...? I've seen a photo of a shipping box where the name is written simply as Zone on the side, and I'm aware the G in question is just a power symbol rotated 90° clockwise, but come on, that makes it a G! Well, whatever the case, though I haven't had a chance to try these drinks, I accept them as my potentially G-Zone brethren. Hopefully they're still around should I ever make it to Nippon!
